Police officer questioned on suspicion of sexually harassing a woman who filed a complaint at the station
The Police Internal Investigations Department (Mahash) questioned a police officer with the rank of inspector under caution today, on suspicion that he sexually harassed and committed an indecent act against a woman who came to a police station to file a complaint. At the end of the investigation, the officer was released under conditions of distancing from police facilities and a ban on contacting those involved, for 11 days. Mahash stated that the investigation is ongoing.

At the end of his investigation, the officer was released under conditions of distancing from police facilities and a ban on contacting those involved, for 11 days. Mahash stated that the investigation is ongoing. On the same day, it became known that Mahash filed an indictment with the Nazareth Magistrate's Court against a 29-year-old man who served as a Border Police fighter in the Shahar company in Jerusalem, for a series of sexual harassment offenses against a minor under the age of 14. The indictment was filed by attorney Hila Cohen from Mahash, at the end of an investigation conducted by the Jerusalem team of the department. According to the indictment, about two years ago, the defendant made contact with the minor via Instagram, conducted conversations of an explicit sexual nature, while knowing his young age. He asked him if he had met or had sexual relations with adults, and after a negative answer, wrote to him: "You're really a virgin, I'll get you brand new." He offered him to come to his house, sleep at his place, and even pick him up and give him "whatever he wants." The defendant explained to the minor about sexual acts and concepts from the BDSM world, sent messages describing his sexual arousal, and asked for pictures. The minor made it clear to the defendant that he was under 14 and gave him his exact date of birth, but the defendant continued the correspondence, responded "really small," offered to have a "threesome," and asked for Instagram details of another minor to include him in the meeting.
