Pedestrian killed in Sharon region
A pedestrian about 50 years old was killed this evening when hit by a vehicle on Highway 4 near the Pardesiya junction, close to Netanya. A Magen David Adom team pronounced him dead at the scene. The report was received at 20:18. Earlier, a pedestrian was seriously injured in Nazareth, and on Highway 1 two Palestinians were killed in an accident.

A Magen David Adom team pronounced him dead at the scene. The report was received at 20:18 at the MDA 101 dispatch center in the Sharon region. Paramedic Oriane Lutz Kinen and medic Avi Moyal said they saw the pedestrian lying on the side of the road unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with very severe injuries to his body. They performed medical checks, but his injuries were significant and there was no choice but to pronounce his death. Earlier, a pedestrian about 50 years old was seriously injured when hit by a vehicle in Nazareth and was taken to the English Hospital in the city. On Highway 1, near the Metzuda junction, two Palestinians about 45 years old were killed in an accident between two cars, and a man about 45 years old was seriously injured and taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. The deaths of the victims were pronounced at the scene.
