Pay Raises and Social Benefits: New Collective Agreement for Arkia Aircraft Maintenance Workers

The Histadrut, Arkia management, and the workers' committee signed a new collective agreement for aircraft maintenance workers, valid until the end of 2028. The agreement includes salary increases in three stages, expanded pension and social contributions from January 2026, a role addition for technicians with two licenses, increased per diem abroad, eased retirement conditions (grant after 25 years instead of 35), and increased car expense reimbursement. Retroactive payments will be made in the August 2026 salary.

The Histadrut, Arkia management, and workers' committee representatives signed today (Monday) a new collective agreement for the company's aircraft maintenance sector workers, valid until the end of 2028. The agreement includes salary increases in three stages, which will be updated within the base salary and affect derived components. Starting January 2026, contributions to pension, severance, disability, and study fund will be expanded, and will also apply to evening, night, Friday, and additional hour components. Technicians with two licenses (avionics and airframe-engine) will receive a role addition. The payment for workers eligible for per diem abroad will be increased. Eligibility for a special retirement grant will be granted after 25 consecutive years of work instead of 35. The car expense reimbursement ceiling will be significantly increased. Salary differentials will be paid already in the August 2026 salary.
