Passengers, including 16-year-old Eva Gregory, faced the stuffiness even before boarding: first in a bus without air conditioning, then on an open apron under the sun. In the cabin, where the air conditioning did not work, people spent more than an hour, many took off their outer clothing, some fainted or suffered from vomiting. Eva experienced nausea and a panic attack. Passengers complained about the lack of free water, although Ryanair opened bars for purchasing drinks. The crew tried to help, but coolness returned only after takeoff. Ryanair confirmed the delay, explaining it by a technical fault and a medical incident. After checks, the plane departed.
