Passenger sucked out of plane window – Ryanair's cynical response

On July 10, a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen experienced cabin depressurization on a Boeing 737: the window frame shifted, and 61-year-old passenger Ljubiša Karović was sucked outside. He hung upside down at altitude. His wife Svetlana and two passengers pulled him back in. The man suffered severe neck and shoulder injuries, burns to his face and hand, wears a brace, and may need surgery. The family accuses Ryanair of crew inaction and cynicism: the company only sent a dry letter offering to rebook tickets. CFO Neil Sorahan publicly stated the highest safety standards and called the Boeing 737 one of the most reliable. The NTSB is investigating. The family has hired a lawyer for compensation.
