Party of Yoaz Hendel and Hili Tropper to Launch Its Platform Next Week Ahead of Elections

The 'Beit Tzioni – The Reservists' party, led by Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, will hold its official launch event in Jerusalem on Wednesday, August 5, where its leaders will present its platform and goals. The party, established after Tropper's departure from Blue and White, has for the first time crossed the electoral threshold in polls, with four to five seats. Benny Gantz said he does not see a substantive disagreement with Tropper.

The 'Beit Tzioni – The Reservists' party, led by MK Hili Tropper and former Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel, will hold its official launch event in Jerusalem this coming Wednesday, August 5. At the event, the party leaders are expected to present its principles, goals, and platform ahead of the elections for the 26th Knesset. This is the first major public event of the joint framework, following the announcement of the connection between Tropper's new party and Hendel's Reservists party. Tropper left Benny Gantz's Blue and White in recent months but did not resign from the Knesset. In early July, a request was filed to register 'Yesodot Israel', and the next day Tropper and Hendel announced a joint run under the name 'Beit Tzioni', to which the brand 'The Reservists' was added. The party presents itself as a 'Zionist and statehood alternative in the center', with an emphasis on service, national responsibility, and the fight against political division. In polls published at the end of July, the party crossed the electoral threshold for the first time, receiving between four and five seats. The event is intended to present its political identity and sharpen the differences with other center parties, primarily Blue and White. In an interview with 103FM, Gantz said he does not see a substantive disagreement with Tropper, expressed regret over his departure, and did not rule out his return. It was also noted that attorney Shovot Ra'anan left the party but will continue to work to promote the draft law.
