He is set to enter 10th grade and was naturally placed in the high school from the middle school that feeds it. He is expected to arrive at school wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and accompanied by a probation officer. The school's parents' committee has launched a campaign against the student's admission and has contacted the Ministry of Education and the Petah Tikva municipality, claiming that the teenager "should go to a school for criminals, not a regular high school." Zalka was murdered on the eve of the last Independence Day. An indictment for aggravated murder was filed against the main suspect. Additionally, it was recommended to indict several other suspects for murder as a group, along with additional offenses of aggravated assault. During the investigation, 19 suspects were arrested, all minors from the Sharon region, on suspicion of involvement in the attack that led to the murder. Some of the suspects attempted to flee and hide, and during the investigation, additional individuals were arrested on suspicion of aiding and obstructing the investigation.
