"PalPay".. A new method for transfers without internet

PalPay announced a new update allowing financial transfers via USSD service without an internet connection. The update enables offline access to the wallet app, creating a USSD code, entering the mobile number and amount, then confirming the transaction with a password. The update aims to speed up transfers during internet outages.

PalPay announced a new update to its electronic wallet services, allowing users to make financial transfers via USSD service without needing an internet connection or entering the long service number. According to the update, users can access the wallet app offline, then press the "Create USSD" icon, which displays two fields: one for entering the recipient's mobile number and the other for specifying the transfer amount. After pressing "Send", the user is automatically transferred to a USSD service connection, where they are asked to enter a four-digit password. After verification, the recipient's name appears to the user before completing the transfer, which is then executed in the usual manner. The update aims to simplify and speed up financial transfer processes via the "PalPay" wallet, especially in cases where an internet connection is unavailable, while eliminating the need to enter long USSD service numbers.
