Palestinian Red Crescent first in the world in first aid
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society was awarded first place in the 2026 World First Aid Cup, held in Dubai with the participation of 162 teams from 85 national societies. The award was shared with the Chinese Red Cross, in recognition of the Palestinian team's level and professionalism in handling critical scenarios.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society was awarded first place in the 2026 World First Aid Cup, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the supervision of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The tournament featured 162 teams representing 85 national societies from five regions. Teams competed in three areas: innovation in first aid and resuscitation, emergency response through complex scenario simulations, and awareness campaigns and community capacity building. The Palestinian Red Crescent shared first place with the Chinese Red Cross, in recognition of the professional level and expertise demonstrated by the Palestinian team. The team showed speed and efficiency in handling critical scenarios and field simulations, and presented innovative solutions in emergency response. This achievement reflects the level of experience and readiness of the Palestinian Red Crescent teams, and constitutes a prominent Palestinian accomplishment in international humanitarian and medical forums.
