Palestinian attacker in IDF uniform documented, arrested after month on the run

A suspect in his 20s, a member of a rapid response team in Judea and Samaria, was documented wearing IDF uniform and attacking Palestinians in Huwara. The incident occurred on July 6. Following a report of a severe attack, IDF forces were alerted, and investigators from the Shai District began gathering evidence. Footage shows the suspect armed with an M16 rifle and a pistol. Several Palestinians required medical treatment. During the investigation, additional suspects were arrested, and an indictment was filed against one of those involved. Early this morning, detectives from the inter-organizational headquarters, along with the Judea and Samaria Border Police and Shin Bet, arrested the suspect in the Samaria area. He was transferred for questioning, and the police are expected to request an extension of his detention.
