Activists and human rights organizations criticized the "revolving door" policy, where the PA arrests Palestinians while occupation forces and settlers continue their attacks. They also called for an end to political arrests and the pursuit of resistance fighters, noting that the handover of the armed settler comes at a time of escalation in settler aggression in the West Bank.
