A GAMAAN survey of 31,450 Iranians aged 15 or older, conducted June 20-27, 2026, reveals significant discontent with the Islamic Republic and surprising support for Israeli and American figures. 51% view Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu positively, and 40% consider US-Israeli military action a 'humanitarian intervention,' though 48% disagree. 60% are satisfied the regime was weakened, and 52% were not saddened by the assassination of former supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Only 13% want to live under the Islamic Republic, with 25% preferring a non-federal monarchy. The survey also shows 50% denied attending protests that began in December 2025 over economic crisis, while 25% admitted joining. 80% said the regime's violent suppression was wrong. The survey was conducted in collaboration with Psiphon, Lantern, and MahsaNet, with a 95% credibility level and ±3% margin of error.
