On the day of the Likud primaries, Yoaz Hendel, chairman of the Home of Zionists-Miluimniks party, called on Likud members to leave their party and join him. In an interview with 103FM, Hendel attacked the government and the Haredi parties, claiming that a government with Haredim will not decide the war. He marked the Internal Security portfolio as a goal for his party and said there is a 'void' in the Negev and Galilee. Hendel revealed that his party is in contact with MK Abir Kara, whom he described as an 'old friend'. He estimated his party would win 5-7 seats and that it is the only party passing the electoral threshold in most polls. Hendel ruled out a coalition with the Haredi parties and claimed that October 7 is a result of people of experience, so he wants to bring people from the front.
