Ofer Winter and Yosef Haddad in advanced talks on joint run, will Lali Deri also join?

Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter is in advanced negotiations with Yosef Haddad and Lali Deri to establish a new right-wing party under his leadership. Winter aims to announce this within the coming week, claiming the Likud will fail to bring back disappointed right-wing voters. The party will be part of the right-wing bloc and will not agree to a government with Gadi Eisenkot.

Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, former commander of the Givati Brigade, has been conducting advanced negotiations in recent days with several prominent figures to establish a new right-wing party under his leadership. Among the potential partners: hasbara activist Yosef Haddad, who is behind the request to establish a party named "Israel Bravely," and bereaved mother Lali Deri, a resident of Eli in Binyamin, who lost her son Saadia during the "Swords of Iron" war in Gaza and is identified with Religious Zionism. Winter aims to announce the party's establishment as early as the coming week. He claims that the Likud and other veteran parties in the Netanyahu bloc will fail to bring back right-wing voters disappointed with the coalition, even given Netanyahu's slots and the primary results held yesterday in the Likud. According to Winter's house rules, the party will be part of the right-wing bloc and will not agree to form a government with Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot. Winter said he aims to bring only new people and is not interested in connecting with Smotrich or Ben Gvir. Winter's camp said "patience," and Haddad's camp said he is considering entering politics and weighing his steps.
