Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Jabata al-Khashab in Quneitra province, southwestern Syria, at dawn on Wednesday, and arrested two people. Syrian television reported that the incursion involved more than 100 personnel and 15 vehicles, and that forces searched homes. This incursion came a day after Israeli aircraft targeted the Abu al-Duhur military airport in Idlib province with 8 airstrikes at dawn on Tuesday, causing material damage to its infrastructure. Israeli forces also shelled the Wadi Abidin village area in the western countryside of Daraa province on Tuesday. Syria said in two identical letters to the United Nations and the Security Council that the continuation of Israeli attacks, including shelling, incursions, and abductions, hinders stability efforts and threatens the region with further tension. Southern Syrian areas are witnessing almost daily Israeli incursions and attacks, including raids, searches, arrests, and the establishment of military checkpoints.
