Occupation expands raids in West Bank: arrest in Qalqilya and settler attacks in the Jordan Valley

In Qalqilya, occupation forces arrested young man Baraa Asayra after raiding and searching his home in Azzun town east of the city, following an incursion through the northern entrance and deployment of military vehicles. Military vehicles also entered Qalqilya city from its eastern entrance, deployed in the market center and Nablus Street, and raided a home in the Qar'an neighborhood before withdrawing after two hours. In Nablus, occupation forces raided the Haifa neighborhood, the vicinity of the Old City, and the area between the old and new Askar camps, searching homes without making arrests. In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers wearing military uniforms raided citizens' tents in the Ras al-Ahmar community southeast of Tubas, threatening families to leave within two weeks, and cut off electricity to families on the eastern side. These attacks follow a night of similar assaults including threats of displacement, cutting water, and seizing vehicles.
