Occupation arrests 26 Palestinians and tightens military measures in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces arrested 26 Palestinians in Nablus and Tubas early Sunday, including a young man and his sister, raided towns and homes, took measurements of a martyr's home in Tel in preparation for its demolition, while tightening military measures and closing roads in Ramallah.

In Nablus, 24 citizens were arrested from city neighborhoods, Askar refugee camp, and the towns of Tel, Huwara, Awarta, and others. Troops raided and searched homes, ransacked their contents, and took measurements of the home of martyr Farouk Ramadan in Tel town in preparation for its demolition. In Tubas, the young man Bilal Jumaa Bani Odeh (37) and his sister Arham (48) were arrested from the town of Tamun. In Ramallah, forces tightened measures, closed the entrance to Sinjil, continued the closure of Turmus Ayya for the second day, and set up checkpoints near the villages of Nabi Salih, Rawabi, Atara, and Ein Sinya. According to the Commission of Resistance to the Wall and Settlements, the number of checkpoints and gates exceeds 916, including 243 since October 2023.
