Occupation arrests 19 citizens and wounds a young man in the West Bank

A young man was wounded by bullet fragments from Israeli occupation forces early Monday morning during a raid on Balata camp east of Nablus, while occupation forces arrested 19 citizens during incursions and raids that targeted various areas in the occupied West Bank. In Nablus, occupation forces stormed Balata camp, raided and searched a number of citizens' homes, and tampered with their contents, amid heavy gunfire, which led to a young man being wounded by fragments in the foot, and he was taken to hospital for treatment. Local sources said that occupation forces arrested five citizens: Raed Da'ous, Taha al-Saqa, Muhammad Jihad Mashah, Raed Yahya Faraj, and Nasser Abu Thabet. In Bethlehem, occupation forces arrested 10 citizens from the village of Marah Rabah south of the governorate, after storming the village and raiding and searching their families' homes. Occupation forces also stormed the village of Wadi Fukin west of Bethlehem, raided the home of citizen Adel Muhammad Yusuf al-Hroub, and forced his family to evacuate it for the duration of the raid. Occupation forces also stormed the archaeological area of Solomon's Pools south of Bethlehem, and the towns of al-Ubeidiya, Dar Salah, al-Shawawra, and Za'atara east of the governorate, without reports of arrests. In Jenin, occupation forces arrested three citizens during a raid on Jenin city and a number of towns and villages in the governorate. Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city, raided a number of homes, and conducted field interrogation with a number of citizens, before arresting the two young men Ahmad Jalamna and Ashraf Hantouli. In the village of Jalboun, occupation forces arrested the young man Abdullah Issam Abu al-Rub. In Ramallah, occupation forces arrested early morning the freed prisoner Mahmoud Shalataweh, after storming the town of Aboud northwest of the governorate and raiding his home and tampering with its contents. Local sources reported that Shalataweh spent about ten years in occupation prisons before his release.
