Israeli cybersecurity company Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion. 170 Oasis employees are expected to share over $100 million from exercising their options. The founders, Danny Brickman and Amit Zimmerman, who together held 20%-30% of the company, are expected to receive $200-300 million, mostly in cash and Cyera shares. Funds and institutional investors, holding 50%-60% of Oasis shares, are expected to benefit from $500-600 million. Oasis will continue to operate as an independent division and lead the non-human identity security field. The acquisition aims to address the surge in AI agents and the expansion of non-human communication in organizations. The combination of Cyera's data security technology with Oasis's identity management platform creates a unified security envelope. Cyera, founded in 2021, has raised about $2.3 billion to date and recently completed a $600 million round at a $12 billion valuation. Oasis, founded in 2022, raised about $195 million in three rounds.
