Not Sure It's Possible to Hit Mount Mashush – Even with American Bombers

Israeli security officials said in recent days that the focused attention on Mount Mashush is exaggerated, and it is doubtful whether thousands of advanced centrifuges were actually transferred there as claimed. However, these officials argue that it is not at all certain that the site can be hit by an aerial bombardment, even using the heavy bombers at the disposal of the United States. In his meeting with US President Donald Trump this evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented intelligence information regarding Mount Mashush, as well as general information on Iran's nuclear activities. The meeting was held in an expanded format and included senior security officials from both countries. Among those attending were CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, National Security Council head Shmuel Ben Ezra, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yehiel Leiter, and Military Secretary Guy Markizano. Ambassador Leiter arrived at the meeting with maps, apparently concerning the Israeli presence in Lebanon. Trump and his senior officials want to see an additional Israeli withdrawal from areas in southern Lebanon. Next week, another round of talks between the two countries will be held on this issue.
