The Northern District Police opened an investigation after the comment was reported and issued a warrant. During a search of the suspect's home, officers seized two M-16 magazines with ammunition, fireworks, and over NIS 100,000 in cash. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of publishing incitement to racism, publishing a direct call to commit an act of terrorism, and other offenses. His detention was extended by a court order until July 28.
