Noam Party rebrands itself ahead of elections, Maoz calls to 'strengthen right-wing bloc'

The party, established in 2019, opposes homosexuality and LGBTQ rights and advocates expanding Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Maoz ran jointly with the Religious Zionist Party in 2022 but later split off and left the coalition in 2025. The party stated the rebranding followed surveys and aims to expand its appeal to traditional, religious, haredi, and other right-wing voters disappointed with existing parties. Key goals include passing a contentious judicial reform. Candidates at the launch included former Kiryat Arba Council head Eliyahu Libman and Beersheba Deputy Mayor Shimon Tubul, who was reportedly indicted on Tuesday for assaulting gas station employees over Arabic music. Maoz said polls indicate a need for another right-wing party to secure a right-wing victory. General elections are set for October 27.
