Operators simultaneously launched multiple instances of Claude, distributing tasks among them for code writing, information retrieval, and result verification. One project went beyond computer modeling—a field test of a guided missile ended in failure, after which the operators again turned to Claude to analyze the reasons for the failure. Anthropic emphasizes that AI does not replace missile engines or production capabilities, but can significantly reduce the engineering work needed to improve existing systems. For Israel, this means that assessing Houthi capabilities based solely on weapons supplied from Iran is no longer sufficient. Anthropic blocked the associated accounts, but the group had already created its own autonomous simulation toolkit that does not require Claude.
