New spokesperson for the Histadrut: Maayan Peretz, former consumer reporter for Channel 12 News

Maayan Peretz, until recently the consumer reporter for Channel 12 News, was appointed today (Thursday) as head of the Public Relations and Information Division at the Histadrut. She will replace Yaniv Levi, who announced his retirement after a decade in the role. Peretz (28), a native of Acre, began her journalism career as a reporter and presenter on Radio "Kol Rega". In 2014, she moved to serve as a reporter on Sharon Gal's program on Channel 20. She joined the News Company in 2015 as a researcher, and later became the system coordinator for the program 'Six with'. In July 2016, she was appointed consumer and economics reporter for "Heshbon" program. In her work, she dealt with consumer fraud, price comparisons, tourism and health, and was also a reporter for the main edition. This month she announced her departure from the News Company, after a decade.
