New Lawsuit Against PMO: 'Severe Abuse by Prime Minister's Wife'

Yehiel Ohev Ami, a 61-year-old man and father of a child on the autism spectrum, filed a lawsuit in the Jerusalem Regional Labor Court against the Prime Minister's Office, demanding 300,000 shekels in compensation for workplace abuse. According to the lawsuit, Ohev Ami was employed as an operations assistant at the Prime Minister's residence starting September 2025, and suffered daily from shouting, curses, derogatory names, and unreasonable demands from Sara Netanyahu, backed by his managers. The lawsuit details incidents such as being asked to clean shoe soles with wipes, cleaning the floor while crawling on his stomach, and physical assaults. It also alleges that the Prime Minister's wife told him 'I wish you cancer' and 'I hope you die,' and called him 'on the autistic spectrum' after he shared information about his son. Working hours were unreasonable, sometimes from 6:00 AM to 5:00 AM the next day, with over 100 overtime hours per month. Following these events, his physical and mental condition deteriorated, and he was hospitalized for a pacemaker implant. His dismissal came after an incident in February 2026 when Yair Netanyahu demanded he be thrown out of the house. The Prime Minister's Office completely rejects the claims, calling them 'an industry of extorting money from the state through baseless slander.'
