El Al is expanding its direct flight schedule between Tel Aviv and Tokyo for September and October 2026, adding extra departures from Ben Gurion and return flights from Narita. National carrier El Al has announced an expansion of its direct flight schedule between Tel Aviv and Tokyo for September and October 2026. Additional departures from Ben Gurion Airport are scheduled for September 28 and 30, as well as October 5, 12, 13, 17, 19, 21, 24, and from October 26 to 28. Return flights from Narita Airport are added for October 6–7, 13, 20, 22, and 27–29. Ticket sales are now open, with one-way fares starting at $868. The company attributes the expansion to high demand on the Asian route. Earlier, El Al launched a promotion with reduced fares on popular tourist routes: to Cyprus (from $129 round trip), Bucharest (from $180), and Rhodes (from $184). The fare includes carry-on baggage. The carrier warns that fares are not fixed and may vary depending on demand.
