Sun d'Or, a subsidiary of Israel's national carrier, has announced a new direct route from Israel to Verona, Italy, starting October 25. Flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. For the winter season, the airline has planned flights to 12 destinations, including Larnaca, Paphos, Tbilisi, Batumi, Tirana, Chișinău, Belgrade, Warsaw, Kraków, Salzburg, and Lyon.

The new route will allow Israelis to reach northern Italian provinces without layovers. Winter Verona attracts visitors with its architecture, ancient squares, restaurants, and markets, and also serves as a starting point for trips to Lake Garda and ski slopes. In total, Sun d'Or has planned flights to twelve destinations for the winter season: in addition to Verona, the route network includes Larnaca and Paphos (Cyprus), Tbilisi and Batumi (Georgia), Tirana (Albania), Chișinău (Moldova), Belgrade (Serbia), Warsaw and Kraków (Poland), Salzburg (Austria), and Lyon (France).
