Yemen's Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah group launched a new combined attack on southern Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and drones. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the main target was the Sharura military base in Najran province, about 100 kilometers from the Yemeni border. According to the group, strikes targeted weapons depots and command centers, achieving direct hits. There is no independent confirmation of these claims. Saudi authorities officially confirmed a separate incident: in the Al-Tuwal border area, a projectile fired from Houthi-controlled territory damaged a mosque, injuring two people. The Houthis threaten to expand the range of their attacks to targets deeper inside the kingdom. The attack comes amid the Houthis' expanding control along the Red Sea coast, including the capture of the port of Mokha and Perim Island near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
