New complaint against 'The Shadow': Exploited police connections for his own compound?

MK Meirav Ben Ari has turned to the Police Commissioner and the Department for Internal Police Investigations, demanding an inquiry into suspicions that Yoav Eliasi ('The Shadow'), a close associate of Itamar Ben Gvir, exploited his police connections to influence law enforcement at an entertainment complex he co-owned, according to a Haaretz investigation.

MK Meirav Ben Ari (Together) has written to the acting head of the Department for Internal Police Investigations, Attorney Ronen Yitzhak, and to Police Commissioner Chief Superintendent Danny Levy, demanding an examination of the reports in a Haaretz investigation. According to the report, Yoav Eliasi ('The Shadow'), who serves as commander of an emergency response squad in the Tel Aviv district and is a close associate of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, allegedly exploited his police connections to influence enforcement decisions regarding an entertainment complex on Rothschild Boulevard in which he was a partner. The letter states that there are recordings in which Eliasi is heard describing how he uses his connections, including statements such as 'I educate them in the police that no one can touch this club.' Ben Ari stated that if the reports are true, these are serious allegations raising concerns about improper influence on the exercise of enforcement powers, and the police must thoroughly investigate the matter to maintain public trust.
