Netanyahu: The strike in Qatar and Trump's pressure led to the release of all hostages

Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the combination of the strike in Qatar and Trump's pressure led to the release of all hostages. This was in response to remarks by Jared Kushner, who revealed that the US exploited international pressure on Israel to force a deal.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to remarks by US President's advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner, stating that the combination of decisive military operations and standing up to the terrorist organization led to the political and security achievement. According to the Prime Minister's Office, "the decision of the Prime Minister to send the IDF into Gaza City and to attack Hamas leaders in Qatar, together with the great pressure of President Trump, are what brought Hamas to remove its demands and agree to release all remaining hostages in Gaza." Kushner earlier today revealed in his speech in Ukraine that the US administration exploited the diplomatic siege and international outrage created against Israel following the strike in Doha about a year ago – which he defined as an operational failure that led to global isolation – to exert heavy pressure on Israel. In his remarks, Kushner claimed that the US used this dynamic "to push them into a deal."
