Netanyahu's seat is shaking - the opposition has taken exceptional measures

Four Israeli opposition parties have announced agreements on surplus-vote sharing ahead of the Knesset elections. "The Together" of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid reached an agreement with Yisrael Beiteinu of Avigdor Lieberman, and "Yashar!" of Gadi Eisenkot with "The Democrats" of Yair Golan. The parties stated that the goal is to prevent vote loss and strengthen the change bloc.

Four Israeli opposition parties advocating for the replacement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have announced agreements on surplus-vote sharing. First to announce an agreement were "The Together" of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid with Yisrael Beiteinu of Avigdor Lieberman, followed by similar agreements between "Yashar!" of Gadi Eisenkot and "The Democrats" of Yair Golan. In "Yashar!" they stated that Gadi Eisenkot took steps to form the most effective opposition bloc. As a result, the change camp united around four major parties, which the party believes should logically be divided into two pairs. The party noted that they took into account the experience of previous elections, when disunity among opposition forces led to the loss of votes that could have been cast against Netanyahu. "The Democrats" supported the agreement with the "Yashar!" party and emphasized readiness for further cooperation within the change camp. They stated that in the elections they intend to prevent vote loss, strengthen the opposition bloc, and achieve the replacement of the Netanyahu government. Earlier, "Cursor" reported that Netanyahu held a meeting with members of the Likud list and campaign headquarters leaders to clarify key campaign messages and assess the balance of forces before the elections. Nevertheless, the campaign headquarters still views him solely as an electoral risk.
