Netanyahu's attorney to i24NEWS: "There was no conversation between him and the UAE president"

Uriel Horev Nazri, denied in an interview with the program "7 with Sharon Gal" the report in the newspaper "Haaretz" that the UAE president warned Netanyahu of Sinwar's intention to harm Israel before October 7. Nazri called the report a "lie" and clarified that no conversation took place between the two.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attorney, Adv. Uriel Horev Nazri, was interviewed yesterday (Wednesday) on the program "7 with Sharon Gal" and strongly denied the report in the newspaper "Haaretz." Nazri said: "It's a lie, there was no conversation between him and the UAE president." According to him, "Coming and saying we have evidence and publishing lies is the easiest way to spread conspiracies." The publication in "Haaretz" claimed that at the end of September 2023, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu of Yahya Sinwar's intention to harm Israel, but Netanyahu did not update the heads of the security establishment. The Prime Minister's Office responded: "An absolute lie! Prime Minister Netanyahu did not speak with the UAE president during the relevant period and did not receive any warning from him." The UAE Foreign Ministry said it does not respond to media speculation but noted that all relevant intelligence was passed between the relevant parties when needed. Netanyahu demanded the article be removed, an apology published, and one million shekels paid within 72 hours, otherwise he would file a lawsuit for over 2.5 million shekels. Nazri added that no negotiations with the newspaper have taken place since the warning.
