In the notice submitted to the court, it was stated that even after examining the Attorney General's claims, the Minister's response, and the update notices, Netanyahu did not change his position that Ben Gvir's appointment was made lawfully, and there is no legal grounds for his removal from office. Netanyahu sharply criticized the Attorney General's conduct, arguing that instead of exhausting dialogue, she seeks to bring about Ben Gvir's judicial dismissal through update notices, and tries to 'thicken' the factual basis by adding events and statements that have no real connection. It was further argued that the petitions are not the appropriate framework for examining Ben Gvir's administrative decisions, and that they are filed during an election period, in which the court should exercise restraint, citing the High Court's ruling in the Negev case. In conclusion, the Prime Minister and the government request to dismiss the petitions in full, arguing that Ben Gvir meets all eligibility conditions and that judicial intervention would be an exceptional and unprecedented step.
