According to Liberman, he resigned when he demanded a preemptive strike and elimination of Hamas's top leadership, but Netanyahu refused, preferring to transfer Qatari money. Liberman also claims that Operation Musical Chairs was fully prepared but Netanyahu blocked it. The politician believes all decisions are documented, which is why a state commission of inquiry has not been established. He also accused Netanyahu of rejecting a preemptive strike in 2018 and pursuing policies that harmed national security.
