Netali Shem Tov, a candidate on the "Amcha Yisrael" list, was interviewed this evening (Thursday) by Nadav Elimelech on the program "Sheva" and addressed the i24NEWS exposé, according to which Likud tried until the last moment to dismantle the party. She confirmed that they tried to secure her a slot in Likud until the list submission deadline on Monday. According to her, there are those in Likud who fear the "enormous drift" of voters toward Amcha Yisrael. She emphasized: "We will recommend Netanyahu, and we will also sit with Netanyahu and work with him - but we don't work for him, we work for the people of Israel." She claimed that the party increases the right-wing bloc's chances of forming a government and attracts voters who would otherwise stay home or vote for Eisenkot, Bennett, or Lieberman. At the end of her remarks, she criticized the absence of a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 disaster and called for the establishment of a commission headed by two chairs and two retired judges.
