Navy exercise scheduled for this week between Shavei Tzion and Ashdod

The IDF announced a naval exercise scheduled from Monday morning until Tuesday evening in the maritime area between Shavei Zion and Ashdod. During the exercise, increased activity of security forces and vessels will be felt. The IDF emphasized that this is a pre-planned exercise and there is no reason for security concern.

צה"ל הודיע על תרגיל ימי שיתקיים החל מיום שני בבוקר ועד יום שלישי בערב באזור הימי בין שבי ציון לאשדוד. במהלך התרגיל תורגש פעילות מוגברת של כוחות הביטחון וכלי שיט. צה"ל הדגיש כי מדובר בתרגיל מתוכנן מראש ואין סיבה לחשש ביטחוני. ההודעה קצרה ואינה מפרטת את היקף הכוחות או מטרות התרגיל.
