The general question paper consists of 40 multiple-choice items with four alternatives, and the exam duration is one and a half hours for all subjects except mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, and Arabic. Mathematics for all branches except scientific: 40 items and two hours. Mathematics for the scientific branch: two papers, each with 40 items, and two hours per paper; the first includes differential calculus, and the second includes matrices and integration. Physics, chemistry, English, and Arabic: 40 items and two hours. Arabic for the literary and Sharia branches: 10 reading comprehension items, 8 poetic texts and prosody, 8 grammar, 10 literature, 4 rhetoric, with exemption from expression. For the scientific and business leadership branches: 16 reading, 12 texts, 12 grammar. For vocational branches: 19 reading, 11 texts, 10 grammar. English for all branches: 10 comprehension questions, 10 vocabulary, 20 structures, with exemption from expression. Subjects that were previously offered in two papers will be offered in one paper, except mathematics for the scientific branch.
