Palestinian casualties also increased: 140 wounded and six killed, compared to 82 wounded and no fatalities in the previous six months. The figures exclude July, which saw about 100 additional incidents, indicating the trend continued. The data was released amid growing concern over West Bank violence. Last month, the IDF increased its deployment to 26 battalions, adding two battalions, following Prime Minister Netanyahu's order to boost troops and counterterrorism operations after a deadly shooting near Gilad Farm.
