Nahariya among winners of the National Education Award for the year 5786

Nahariya has been selected as one of the winners of the National Education Award for the year 5786, after representing the Northern District. The committee noted the response to students and staff in emergencies and the connection between the education system and the community. Mayor Ronen Marley said the win is the result of joint work by the municipality, the education administration, the Northern District of the Ministry of Education led by Dr. Orna Simhon, the parents' association, and the city's education teams. "Above all, this achievement belongs to the children of Nahariya, those for whom we work day in and day out to provide the best environment to grow, develop, dream, and succeed," Marley said. The award will be presented to representatives of the city and the education system at a ceremony next month at Binyanei Ha'uma in Jerusalem.
