Naftali Bennett visits Gaza border communities: 'The Qataris are getting the keys to Gaza'
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visited Moshav Netiv HaAsara near the Gaza Strip and attacked Qatar, calling it 'a more dangerous enemy than Iran' and saying it is digging tunnels and planning the next massacre. Bennett accused Netanyahu of bringing Qatar into his office and the Gaza Strip, and promised to 'kick' it out. He also attacked Ra'am and Gadi Eisenkot, who refuses to define Qatar as an enemy state.
Former Prime Minister and leader of the 'Yashar' party, Naftali Bennett, arrived today (Tuesday) at Moshav Netiv HaAsara on the border with the Gaza Strip, where he harshly attacked the State of Qatar. 'They are a more dangerous enemy than Iran; they do their work in secret,' Bennett said, adding that Qatar is the one digging the tunnels and planning the next massacre. 'They are giving the accursed Qataris a prize after October 7th and giving them the keys to Gaza,' he said firmly. Bennett accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of bringing Qatar into his office and the Gaza Strip, but promised he would 'kick' it out. The chairman of 'Yashar' reiterated that he would define it as an enemy state. 'I stand here; what would have happened more? Hamas rehabilitated before Nir Oz; Qatar took the reins. Decisions are made in Qatar, not in Jerusalem, and therefore the result is that they have more terrorists in Gaza than they had before October 7th,' he added. Bennett, who is running on a joint list with Yair Lapid, also referred to current political events and said that Mansour Abbas's Ra'am party is not a Zionist party. 'We will only sit with Zionist parties,' he declared. He also took a dig at Gadi Eisenkot, who leads in mandate polls, saying: 'Anyone who is not willing to define Qatar as an enemy state—you should ask him.' These remarks come after a Walla report that Eisenkot is unwilling to call Qatar an enemy state.
