Chairman of the Together party, Naftali Bennett, claimed in an interview on 103FM that Qatar is working to destroy Israel in many areas, and called for declaring it an enemy state. According to him, 'it is likely that there are hundreds of people in Israel who receive money from Qatar and act against Israel,' adding that there is no tool for monitoring or oversight. Bennett expressed serious concerns about the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asking why Netanyahu does not declare Qatar an enemy state, hinting at a possible connection. He referred to the Netanyahu-Trump meeting and wished them success, but argued that Israel's situation in the world is dire: 'They determine our fate over our heads.' Bennett criticized the goals set against Iran, which he said were not achieved, and the American-Qatari defense agreement. He praised Shin Bet chief David Zini as a statesmanlike officer, and clarified that political civil servants would be replaced. Bennett condemned Netanyahu's 'poison machine' on social media, and expressed confidence in cooperation with Gadi Eisenkot after the elections.
