Murdered lawyer laid to rest, police search for hidden gun: suspicion it was used in other shootings

Hundreds accompanied him to his final rest, including his wife, three children, parents, brother, friends, and many lawyers. One of the lawyers said in pain: "How is Arbel connected to this? You are not connected, you are the most honest, the best person. It's inconceivable." The police have not yet located the gun used in the shooting, and investigators from the YMR (Central Unit) of the Shfela District Police continue their searches to check if it was used in previous shooting incidents. Police noted that it is an illegal gun, and according to suspicion, the murder was premeditated. The motive is apparently a financial dispute between the suspect and Feldman. Al-Rajoub's remand was extended today by 12 days at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate's Court. He is represented by lawyer Oren Sasson, who remained silent during his interrogation and repeatedly answered: "I am psychiatric." The head of the Israel Bar Association, Amit Becher, said at the funeral: "I will fight for every lawyer to have protection; we must not normalize violence. This murder did not happen in a vacuum; we encounter violence not only against legal professionals, but also against doctors, social workers, teachers - people who come to serve the public and are exposed to violence." He called for a joint fight against violence and commemorated Feldman as a man of law and justice.
