Mother of fallen hostage Ron Sherman: 'If the murder government stays, I'll pull my daughter out of my womb'
Ma'ayan Sherman, mother of fallen hostage Ron Sherman, wrote in a Facebook post that her daughter Eden is enlisting in three months for combat service, and announced that if the 'murder and draft-dodging government' remains, she will pull her out and ensure other mothers do the same. The post comes amid harsh reactions she received on social media, including a crude message from a user, after she called government supporters 'baboons'. Ron Sherman was killed in Hamas captivity as a result of an IDF airstrike.
Ma'ayan Sherman, mother of fallen hostage Ron Sherman, published a Facebook post today (Saturday) in which she announced that her daughter Eden is enlisting in three months for combat service. Sherman wrote: 'I hereby announce, if the murder and draft-dodging government remains - I will pull her out of there and ensure that other mothers do the same.' These remarks come amid a public uproar around the Sherman family. Only about a month ago, Alex Sherman, Ron's father, published a harsh message presenting a vituperative response directed at his wife Ma'ayan, documentation that showed explicit contempt for their son's fall and led him to point to a deep rift and social decay. The publication came following harsh reactions Ma'ayan received on social networks, after she published a post condemning groups of government supporters whom she called 'baboons'. In response, the mother suffered a verbal attack that included a crude message from a user who wrote: 'I don't give a damn that he was kidnapped and murdered, why is he the only one, move on sourpuss.' Ron Sherman was killed while in captivity with Nick Beizer and Elia Toledano, as a result of an IDF airstrike during the elimination of the commander of Hamas's northern brigade, Ahmed Randur, as the military reported at the time.
