MK who left Gantz joins Bennett: 'There will be no honeymoon period'

Former Communications Minister Eitan Ginzburg, who left Benny Gantz's Blue and White party in May, is joining the 'Yashar' party led by Naftali Bennett. Bennett announced this on Wednesday afternoon, noting Ginzburg's extensive experience in senior positions, including Communications Minister, Deputy Knesset Speaker, Chairman of the Knesset Committee, and Mayor of Ra'anana. Ginzburg said he is happy to join Bennett's 'repair team', and that the next government will have no honeymoon period, there is no time for trial and error, and the State of Israel needs a government that will work from its first day to repair the damage done. He added that he is convinced Bennett is the right person to lead the required repair. Ginzburg is one of those who left Blue and White, whose situation according to polls is not promising; besides him, Matan Kahana, Orit Farkash-Hacohen, and Hili Tropper also left. Ahead of the elections on October 27, Bennett continues to thicken the 'Yashar' list, with just yesterday announcing the addition of four women to the list, and in total it now has 17 women.
