MK Gutlieb: 'No deal with Hamas, they want us in the sea'

MK Tali Gutlieb said on 'Morning Edition' that there is no deal with Hamas, and that the organization wants to destroy Israel. She called on Israel to control the Strip and keep its finger on the trigger, and addressed the balance of terror vis-à-vis Iran.

During the 'Morning Edition' program with Dana Varon, MK Tali Gutlieb addressed the possibility of a deal with Hamas. She made clear that there is no basis for trust in the organization, and that any talk of disarming it is unfounded in reality. According to her, Hamas is a terrorist organization that wants to destroy Israel, so there is and will be no deal. Gutlieb called on Israel to control the Strip and keep its finger on the trigger, noting that one cannot rely on Hamas's mercy but only on Israel's strength. She also referred to our forces' operations in the Strip, mentioning the extensive activity last week to strike underground infrastructure in Gaza. Additionally, she said that Iran proves that Israel has an advantage in the balance of terror against it.
