According to Cohen, "With the current Iranian regime, there is no reason to make a deal and release funds to them." He acknowledged that economic escalation against Iran would have a short-term cost in fuel prices but described it as a necessary step to prevent a nuclear arms race. Cohen dismissed claims of a weakening alliance with the US, asserting that "the strategic alliance has never been stronger." He also addressed the regional IMEC corridor plan, which he said has gained significant momentum in the past year and a half due to Houthi and Iranian attempts to block shipping routes. On the political front, Cohen supported Netanyahu's proposal for Likud primaries, arguing that the next elections could complete the judicial reform. He attacked opposition leaders Naftali Bennett and Gadi Eisenkot, calling Eisenkot "the fig leaf of the left."
