According to him, in one year under his tenure, 5,750 illegal homes were demolished, compared to just four homes during the entire period of the previous government – a figure confirmed by MK Mansour Abbas. Ben Gvir clarifies that his role is to demolish, while others are responsible for building. Regarding the seam line, he praises the police officers operating there: 'They shoot at infiltrators – and that's good,' and states that the seam line is under the joint responsibility of the IDF and the police. Referring to the Palestinian Authority, he calls for its elimination: 'To erase the thing called the Palestinian Authority,' and claims he is the only one in the cabinet voting against transferring funds to the Authority. The minister emphasizes that the Ministry of National Security must remain in the hands of Otzma Yehudit.
