Sharon Rapaport, director of the Jewish Communities department at the Foreign Ministry, said the meeting sharpened the importance of Israeli people, culture, and values as the strongest assets in the Israeli story. The meeting took place against the backdrop of joint activity by Masa and the Foreign Ministry to provide knowledge and tools to young Jews on the international stage. As part of this, the Masa-Diplomacy program was recently approved, developed following a successful pilot, and designed to deepen familiarity with the Middle East, international institutions, social networks, antisemitism, and the diversity of Israeli society.
