The Small and Medium Business Agency at Israel's Ministry of Economy and Industry has announced the opening of applications for new grants. Under the program, 9 million shekels have been allocated to support two types of initiatives: financial projects aimed at providing cash flow and credit solutions for companies, and business startups offering solutions for operational optimization. Financial projects can receive up to 35% of the budget (no more than 5 million shekels), startups up to 35% (up to 500,000 shekels). Applications are evaluated based on the applicant's experience, quality of the business plan, economic potential, and attraction of external capital. Additional points are given for return investments. Documents are accepted until August 25, 2026. In 2025, the agency distributed 12 million shekels, which attracted over 100 million shekels in private capital. Among the winners of the previous selection were five financial projects (Biz Finance, Ogen, Korz Tech, Finester, Koret Funds) and two business startups (AI Optimum, Irfan Finance). Director of the Financial Department Yossi Adas noted that the program creates new financial instruments for commercial entities. Director of the Business and Employment Division Ran Yehezkel emphasized that the state stimulates entrepreneurial initiatives. Agency Director Itzik Kesner added that the program develops the financial market and expands the supply of private funds.
