His wife Shuli and their three children, Niv, Ro'i, and Adi, shared their difficult struggle for the first time. Shuli described how Miki initially denied the diagnosis due to his optimism, while the children spoke of the difficulty of seeing their strong father change. The first signs appeared during the COVID-19 period with complaints about vision, but tests showed his eyesight was normal. A significant turning point was a family trip to New York in 2024, where Miki showed confusion and disorientation. Daughter Adi, who lives in the US, described a difficult walk where she realized her father was "no longer like a dad."
